Compliance Risk OfficerOur well established financial services client based in Northwich are currently looking for a Compliance Risk Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain knowledge of this specialist area. In addition, the job holder will need an understanding of the overall business activity and will support both the Compliance Team and the Deputy Head of Compliance to achieve the objectives. What does the role entail?As a Compliance Risk Officer, you will be providing support, advice and guidance on compliance framework, policies and procedures, which will facilitate the business in identifying, assessing and managing compliance risk within the business. You will also be making sure all compliance work is carried out to the required level of competence, regularly reviewing and keeping up to date with changes in regulatory, legislative and market practices that impact the business.What skills will you have?To become a Compliance Risk Officer you must meet the below requirements:regulatory horizon scanninggap analysis of consultation papers from the regulatorregular compliance monitoring of business processesthematic reviewsgood FCA/PRA handbook knowledge including CASS, MiFID, COBS, BCOBS, DISP, SMCRcomplaint handlingexperience of Compliance report writing for Senior Management Committeesexperience of policy reviews and policy updatescompliance governance and oversightimplementation of new regulation within a businessregulatory reporting to the regulatordata protection/GDPRbusiness continuity What is on offer?This is a great opportunity for a passionate individual to work within a well known and reputable financial services organisation, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career.
