Job Description:



This Senior Compliance Risk Assessor role presents a valuable opportunity to join a team of experienced and dedicated professionals. Our client are known for their expertise in Duct Cleaning & Legionella, offers a range of services and training in water, ventilation, and grease hygiene, including TR19 Grease Compliance Cleaning & L8 Compliance. Their client base includes the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial, and retail clients. With ambitious growth plans, we are seeking talented individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to their knowledgeable team.



Responsibilities:



� Conduct assessments of air and water quality, including Legionella and Ventilation (BS EN 15780) risk assessments, in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 & HSG274, at various client premises across the UK.



� Ensure statutory compliance and compare systems against industry standards.



� Collaborate with customers or their representatives to develop an appropriate action plan if their site does not meet L8 practice.



Key Performance Indicators:



� Complete all service reports in full and submit them to the office by the end of each working shift.



� Report any compliance issues on site along with recommendations.



� Conduct one competency audit per month.



� Identify and pursue at least 2 upselling/cross-selling opportunities per month.



� Maintain Elite Driver status on Lightfoot at all times.



Job Specific Functions:



� Coordinate with clients/customers to schedule site visits and discuss work details.



� Arrange necessary equipment for tasks and ensure all equipment is functional and within calibration limits.



� Collaborating with the Stores/Workshop Manager, the individual is accountable for maintaining all general and specialized equipment in a functional state. Ensuring that any equipment rendered unserviceable due to 'fair wear and tear' is replaced, and reporting any deficiencies or damages caused by individual negligence or carelessness to the Head of Surveying for further investigation.



� Perform Legionella Risk Assessments, Temperature Monitoring, Service Inspections, and other water-related services as needed, such as Tank Cleaning, TMV Servicing, Closed Loop testing, etc.



� Conduct Ventilation Surveys in compliance with BS EN 15780 / TR19.



� Demonstrate proficiency in using the Visio system to create schematic drawings, with training provided if necessary.



� Arrange necessary travel to and from clients' sites.



� Be prepared for overnight stays when required.



� Conduct site surveys to assess air and water quality in associated buildings, following company method statements and procedures.



� Deliver Legionella Awareness Training to clients in group settings.



� Provide Written Scheme production service to clients.



� Communicate and collaborate with clients and site personnel regarding work progress and any issues that may arise.



� Assist the management team in delivering new technical services.



� Offer senior guidance and technical support to other members of the Surveying team.



� Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for additional work.



� Immediately report any progress issues or problems on site to the office.



� Maintain daily communication with the office/coordinator to provide updates on job progress for the day.



� Record all information thoroughly using a Digital Compliance Systems.



� Prepare reports using the company's format, input site data, and draw conclusions/recommendations.



� Represent the company and uphold a professional image in the marketplace.



� Lead by example and ensure that customers and staff are treated in a professional and courteous manner.



� Adhere to company procedures at all times.



� Collaborate with the sales team on important site issues and necessary remedial works.



� Support other members of the Surveying team whenever possible, including providing on-site training if needed.



� Conduct competency audits on the Surveying Team for services such as Legionella Risk Assessments, Planned Preventative Maintenance Tasks, Clean and Disinfection, and Legionella Awareness Training.



� Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct (Ref: POL037) while on Company duties, regardless of location or capacity.



� While not the budget holder, the Compliance Risk Assessor must ensure that tasks are completed within the allocated costs.



� Coordinate with the office to plan jobs for improved productivity.



Resource Requirements:

o Survey kit (torch, temperature probe, infra-red gauge, tape measure, tools, ladder, etc.)



o PPE (Steel toe-capped footwear, high visibility vest, hard hat, dust/legionella mask, protective overalls)



o On-the-job training as needed.



o Health and Safety training as needed.

o Ensure adherence to company processes and procedures to provide quality service to customers.



o Familiarize yourself with and comply with all relevant sections of the Company's Environmental Policy.



Health & Safety Responsibilities:



o Familiarize yourself with and comply with all relevant sections of the Company's Health and Safety Policy.



o Follow the check-in and check-out procedure for lone working.



Job Type: Full-time



Pay: �34,000.00-�38,000.00 per year
