For both documents, please view the attachment/s below.Person specificationQualificationsEssential criteriaManagement of Asbestos in Buildings (BOHS P405)Management of Water Hygiene /Safe Water SystemsEvidence of continuing professional development (certificate) or equivalent experience.Knowledge of HVAC mechanical & electrical installations.ExperienceEssential criteriaExtensive experience of hospitals or other building related services plant & equipment maintenance.Previous submissions for PAM for other Healthcare ProvidersA good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation related to building equipment and services (Mechanical and Electrical Services).Experience of Estates maintenance management experience in a similar environment.Desirable criteriaProficient at DATIX and Powerpoint softwareExperience of initiating, conducting and evaluating risk assessmentsKnowledgeEssential criteriaGood technical understanding and proven practical application of Building and Engineering legislationGood practicable understanding of current health and safety legislation.Comprehensive knowledge of guidance issued by NHS Estates for design and maintenance of hospitals.SkillsEssential criteriaAbility to provide expert advice to clinicians etc on a wide range of Estates management issues.Ability to enforce safe working practices along with comprehensive knowledge of H&S legislation affecting building and engineering process.Excellent verbal, communication and written skills.Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive individualAbility to work without direct supervision.Ability to manage various tasks and work under pressure to very tight deadlines.Good negotiation skillsOtherEssential criteriaAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesFlexible approach and attitude, good team player.Effective Team Leader/ WorkerAble to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlinesAbility to build relationships with all staff groupsPerformance orientated/customer focused.Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss Estates issues with all levels of managementWe strive to live by our WeCare values and are committed to promoting inclusion, where every staff member has a sense of belonging.
