Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer
This is a permanent full-time position offering a hybrid working model. There is a requirement for one day per week in the London office and the option to work the remainder of the week remotely if preferred.

Role Overview:
We are recruiting a Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer (DPO) on behalf of our client. Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures transparent, ethical, and compliant data use, evaluates emerging regulations (including AI), and collaborates with the Executive Team on policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Privacy Compliance:
Fulfil DPO duties, manage governance systems, and execute privacy strategies.
Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
Facilitate risk management plans and regulatory assessments.
Serve as the main contact for regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Review data protection contracts and support AI compliance.
General Compliance:
Manage enterprise risk and promote regulatory compliance.
Conduct training sessions and monitor compliance with regulations.
Advise on regulatory aspects for new products and market expansions.
Stay updated on UK regulations and pursue beneficial certifications.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the Compliance team.
Oversee telecom compliance contract staff.
Manage regulatory inquiries and compliance roadmaps.
Maintain external and contractor relationships.
Requirements:
Key Qualifications:
Data Protection Officer qualifications and experience.
Experience in a regulated B2B environment.
Proven leadership in compliance teams.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of UK and EU GDPR guidelines.
Desirable Skills:
Telecoms knowledge (SIP, PSTN, number management).
Experience with auditing and contract law.
