If you're ready to take on a pivotal role as a Compliance Manager, I invite you to read on and apply!Key ResponsibilitiesComplete technical aspects of product development for all products producedPrimary contact for Retailer Audits and other second and third party audits/visitsCheck appropriate product specifications, and artworks to ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU legislation, guidance and codes of practiceAmends documents or creates new documents, flow charts or spreadsheets as necessary, getting updated documents signed by relevant managers, updating system and Document Matrix, filing document paperworkConducting monthly housekeeping audits for all departmentsBeing the main compliance representative during customer audits, collating requested paperwork and managing the compliance assistant and others to ensure relevant paperwork is completedConducting audits of supplier premises and facilitiesBe the Compliance representative during morning meetings and other meetings as appropriateManagement of the site asbestos register including auditing, communication and updating of the register where changes have been made to the building fabricConduct complaint audits with suppliers and conduct internal investigations which may result from a customer complaint or an internal complaintInvestigate source of complaints and liaise with neighbours to ensure satisfactory conclusionAttend ongoing training to support the development of your roleAny other duties as requested by your managerAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this role should have:Experience of working within Food Manufacturing Technical or Compliance TeamExperience of auditing and dealing with auditors in particular BRC/GFSIExperience of delivering training coursesLegal Labelling experienceExperience of HACCP systemsExperience of Quality Management SystemsExperience of Food Safety SystemsDesired experience of SAP systemsDesired experience of managing peopleKeen eye for detailExcellent communication skillsFlexible and adaptableCustomer service focusedAble to deal with difficult situations calmlyJob OfferFull Time - PermanentUp to £47,500Tiverton, DevonAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
