As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with breaches of data security and privacy. You will also evaluate the efficiency of these controls and improve them continuously. You will collaborate with the IT department, the legal counsel, and other stakeholders to monitor and enforce the compliance standards and regulations. You will also provide guidance and training on information security matters to the employees and partners.To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a compliance manager in the information security field. You should have in-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc. You should also have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as a strong sense of ethics and integrity.Responsibilities: Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with breaches of data security and privacy Evaluate the efficiency of these controls and improve them continuously Revise policies, procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify and mitigate information security risks Collaborate with the IT department, the legal counsel, and other stakeholders to monitor and enforce the compliance standards and regulations Provide guidance and training on information security matters to the employees and partners Conduct audits and investigations to ensure compliance and resolve any issues or incidents Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in information security and compliance
Proven experience as a compliance manager in the information security field In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality and security Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning and organizational abilities An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
