Job DescriptionCompliance DirectorPrivate EquityLondon – Up to £140,000Gresham Hunt has been retained on an exclusive search for a leading Real Assets Private Equity firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm that is experiencing a high level of growth.Our client is a real assets private equity firm, with a global reach and involvement in a strong portfolio of companies and projects. They are looking for a Compliance Director, who will be responsible for the Compliance programme in the UK, with additional support to their global network. This will be a hands-on role, where you will be expected to own compliance responsibilities independently and with minimal direction.You will be responsible for:Leading on-boarding of new funds and investorsAct as the main point of contact for Compliance matters for the UK team on behalf of the CCOManage and undertake the preparation of responses to KYC requests from third party banks and advisorsDrive interactions with the FCA, and ensure the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks, processes, and policiesSupport the CCO in reporting all relevant regulatory and compliance matters to the Company's board of DirectorsThe successful candidate will have:7-15 Years’ experience within Compliance within a Private Equity or Investment Management contextStrong knowledge of Compliance regulations pertaining to Private Equity and Real Assets, specifically AIFMDStrong knowledge and practical experience of onboarding funds and investorsProven experience in Compliance monitoring and controlsKnowledge of European requirements for AIFs is highly preferable, specifically Luxembourg regulationsProven ability as a self-starterStrong stakeholder management experienceImpeccable written and oral communication skillsThe successful candidate will be awarded a competitive salary, entitlement to performance bonus, and additional benefits.Candidates must be based in the UK with full right-to-work.
