£56,772 - £63,066 per annum (pro rata for part time staff)
37 hours per week

Your role:
East Suffolk Services Limited, a brand-new company launched on 1st July 2023, is an exciting place to work, delivering essential local services across the district.
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Compliance and Risk Manager to join us and make a difference in our company.
Your role will be to ensure that East Suffolk Services Limited operates in line with all required legal standards, best practice and internal policies, as well as focusing on continuous improvement.
You will develop a risk based internal audit programme to prevent non-compliance and identify and provide recommendations around improvement. You will also design and implement compliance-based policies and procedures and deliver training programmes on these.
You will establish risk mitigation methods to proactively manage operational and strategic risks, ensuring all are regularly reviewed and reported. You will also lead internal proactive and reactive investigations across the business, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team on breaches, risks, opportunities and financial implications.
What you will need:
You will have significant proven experience in a compliance role and related laws and standards.
You will have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills, in addition to the strong verbal and written communications skills to be able to communicate information to both operational, technical and strategic audiences.
