Compliance Advisory Manager

Our client is looking for a Compliance Advisory Manager to join our welcoming team in Bath. This full-time compliance hybrid role comes with a salary of up to �65,000 p/a and excellent benefits (bonus, 34 days holiday, private medical, income protection, life assurance, pension, internal progression encouraged)

As Compliance Advisory Manager, you will ensure that the client complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will provide guidance and support to the business units to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations and identify and mitigate compliance risks.

To give you an idea of how this Compliance Advisory Manager role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies that apply
• Maintain Regulatory development log and provide business impact assessments and regulatory updates in a timely manner
• Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters, including reviewing and approving new products, services, marketing materials and remuneration
• Deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant laws

To apply for this Compliance Advisory Manager role, you will need good experience in financial services in a 2nd line back-office compliance role. You will also require the following:

• Relevant business qualification e.g Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager or CISI Compliance Diploma
• The ability to undertake 'Thought Leadership' regarding interpreting the regulatory rules and business impact analysis
• Working knowledge of and experience in using the FCA Handbook
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
