Responsibilities:

As a Hazardous Area Electrician, your key responsibilities will include:

• Installing new customer LPG/LNG plants throughout the UK.
• Conducting electrical inspections and rectification work on customer installations across the country.
• Performing electrical inspections, rectification work, and full plant upgrades on installations nationwide.
• Assembling LPG vaporizers, Pump skid units, and package boiler houses off-site.
• Prepare and install IECEx/Atex rated equipment, including motors, control stations, junction boxes, and lighting.
• Metal trunking, conduit, tray, SWA cables, glands, and LV distribution.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• JIB grade Electrician / Approved Electrician
• Inspection & Testing Qualification
• CompEX01-4 
• Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Familiarity with schematic, Loop, P&ID, and zone drawings.
• Sound knowledge of control systems and fault-finding techniques.
• Physical fitness to work as part of a team or independently in demanding environments.

Salary:

• JIB Electricians with compex 01-04 and 2394/5 qualifications start with a basic salary of £45,760. Earnings circa £65,000 per annum including overtime
