An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join their dynamic Compensations Protection Unit. This role would involve supporting the Professional Deputy/Trustee, examples include making Court applications, dealing with clients, families and other professionals and the management and investment of funds.Your key responsibilities would include: Managing a caseload of files efficiently, ensuring effective handling of cases and transactions.Building and maintaining strong client relationships by managing expectations and providing expert advice.Scoping fees for existing clients and contribute to fee negotiations.Expanding internal and external networks by cultivating relationships with clients, intermediaries, and industry contacts.Enhancing the personal and departmental reputation through participation in networking events, publications, and seminars.Taking ownership of delegated project aspects, meeting deadlines and delivering results.Supporting junior team members by providing guidance and mentorship.Ensuring effective communication with senior lawyers and junior team members.Tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and meeting targets.Assisting with budgetary management of client matters.Implementing business processes and utilize resources efficiently.The ideal solicitor will be 2+ PQE with strong Court of Protection experience. Experience working with or alongside professional deputies/ attorneys is desirable. You must also have familiarity with making applications to the Court of Protection, have the ability to manage your own files, delegate appropriately, demonstrate exceptional client management skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior lawyers.This firm offers a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
