We currently have a full time vacancy for a band 5 community staff nurse in the Blandford District Nursing team. You will be supporting patients in the community providing evidence based, high quality and holistic care. You will be supported with training for the required clinical skills for this role. This is a full time position 37.5 hours per week, however part time hours would be considered. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check. Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.Main duties of the jobWork as a registered nurse as and when required with community nursing teams, providing evidence based, high quality, holistic nursing care for patients in their own homes. Carrying out nursing assessments, treatment and care and liaising with other agencies as appropriate.
