Services will be offered seven days a week to help people remain healthy and build independence. The aim being that the “right care is delivered to the right people at the right time”.We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients’ homes as well as residential homes caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.Main duties of the jobThe post holders will work with the Community Nurses and other multidisciplinary teams with the support of Mastercall GPs, to provide a first class service to the residents of Stockport.We are looking for a flexible, innovative practitioner with a variety of clinical skills. In addition you will need to be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge on relevant nursing issues with knowledge of service changes and needs within Stockport.The post holder will need to be able to prioritise and have have good delegation skills and be a car driver and have a car available for work. the post holder must be flexible and have good time management skills.The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust’s policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS at a cost of £41.90.
