You should submit your interest and apply through the Capital Nurse London group.Main duties of the jobThe role encompasses treatment, advice and teaching within the professional competence of the post holder and applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high quality evidence based care. The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse (Part 1) and will work as a member of the integrated community health care team, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries. Liaising with GPs, other professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies he/she will deliver individualised care to patients under the supervision of the District Nurse.Essential criteria for this post include:oThe ability to work as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary Primary Health Care Team, oAbility to demonstrate knowledge of key issues in Primary Care ServicesoExcellent verbal and written communication skills.About usProbationary PeriodThis post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.
