page!What’s the Job?Uplift Games is the studio behind Adopt Me, the premiere pet adoption game on Roblox (33B+ sessions, 1.92 million record CCU). We're looking for a talented and empathetic Community Manager to join our studio.Community is at the heart of our mission to "Create Future Nostalgia" - understanding the needs of our global player base is the best way to ensure we're developing a game that has a lasting impact. As Community Manager you'll be part of a tight-knit Comms Team, managing community spaces to make our players feel heard, building a deep understanding of player sentiment, and providing context and ideas to our Product Team.This is an opportunity to create an outsized impact on many millions of players while operating in a small studio where every person plays a major role. We are explicitly a trans, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC / BAME, and disability-positive team, and you will be an active supporter of all team members.This is a remote position open to candidates who are based in and can demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.What You'll Be DoingWorking closely with the Head of Comms to collate & present player feedback regularly, with the main focuses being:Immediate sentiment towards weekly content updates.Long-term sentiment towards Adopt Me.Requested investigations from Product.Taking over management of our community Discords, including running our volunteer moderation team.Administrating our Influencer Program, investing time in ensuring current influencers remain engaged, enforcing existing policies, and pushing to expand our accepted influencers - with direct oversight from our Head of CommsWorking closely with Senior Support to ensure consistent player experience and advocate for changes to improve player experience where possible.Engaging directly with our players on social media.Your BackgroundThese are the things candidates really should have but can make up for in other areas. If you’re missing one or two, consider applying anyway, especially if you belong to a marginalized group.2+ years of working in a Community Manager role.Experience processing data and providing reports with practical recommendations for our teams from a community perspective.You are an excellent listener and can filter feedback in an empathetic way that takes into account competing desires.Excellent communication skills, able to form positive relationships with all stakeholders including the wider community itself.Strong organization and prioritization skills.Good written and verbal communication in English.Passion for playing and making games.You value diversity and want to work alongside talented people from marginalized groups.
