To ensure we consistently deliver this to residents, we are looking for a Community Manager to join our team.Reporting to the Property Manager, the Community Manager is responsible for ensuring our residents feel good about where they live. If you take pride in being a champion for resident relations and provide best-in-class customer service, this role located within our Carabob Court community is perfect for you!What you will do:• Promote a strong sense of community by maintaining an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience• Respond to all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns from residents (current and perspective) professionally and courteously and follow up as required• Accountable for day to day activities as it relates to resident services, service providers, and contractors• Ensure effective communication with residents, consistent with their expectations• Maintain good resident relations, handling & documenting resident complaints & any emergencies in the building which occur during, over & above office hours• Partner with Marketing & Leasing on overall Resident experience strategies at the property• Provide input for planning and budgeting, inclusive of annual budget preparation, reforecasts, management plans, performance reports, and variance reports• Work with colleagues to coordinate month-end duties and responsibilities, including suite pre-inspection, and scheduling of contractors and staff for turnover of suites• Perform regular and proactive inspections of the property and make recommendations as required• Conduct regular market surveys, analyzing competition & identifying market trends for the purpose of providing input & recommendations on pricing & strategy• Educate residents, when appropriate, on the rules & regulations of the property• Complete weekly/monthly reports as required• Organize resident events/activities aligned to the resident base to increase customer loyalty• Supports team goals, objectives, operations & strategy for properties outlined by management• Support the Property Manager with other related duties as required when requiredWho you are:• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills• 3 + years of management experience with multiple reports• College education in a business or related field, university degree considered an asset• Completion of (or working towards) Property Management Designation considered to be an asset• High degree of diplomacy, integrity, discretion and confidentiality• Leadership abilities that inspire others• High degree of integrity, initiative, agility, creativity and flexibility• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and interests while being culturally aware• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)• Eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.What we offer:Competitive salary based on experience and skillset, comprehensive benefits package including employer sponsored defined contribution pension plan and a professional and friendly atmosphere in which to build your career.Park Property Management Inc. encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
