Advice, Arts, Culture, Heritage, Charity, Community, Social Welfare Closing date: 5 pm on Monday 29th April 2024Duration: To 31st March 2025 (may be extended, subject to funding)RoleThanks to funding received via UK Shared Prosperity Fund, administered by Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council, The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are currently looking for a dynamic person to provide crucial outreach work within the community engaging, supporting, and empowering residents of Penywaun to address issues that matter most to them.Place-based approach. Working with residents and community groups to identify what matters most to them ensuring that the community voice is heard from a diverse range of people, including those hardest to reach. Key skills: communication; facilitation and effective consultation. Piloting a person-centred approach providing information, advice, guidance, and signposting to appropriate training, or support services with a particular focus on tackling poverty and responding to the cost of living crisis. Key skills: knowledge; information sharing; networking; communication and building relationships.Capacity building. Working with partner organisations to help address any gaps in provision and help people overcome barriers to engagement and support. Key skills: being solution-focused; identifying skills and training needs; communicating and building relationships.Make a positive contribution to the team and our values.
