We are recruiting a Community Development Lead and VolunteerCo-ordinator.As our Community Development Lead and Volunteer Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in collaborating with ourcommitted community members, volunteers, centre attendees, and outreach initiatives. In your role as volunteercoordinator, you'll lead the recruitment, organization, administration, and engagement of volunteers, with astrong emphasis on ensuring each volunteer feels valued, supported, and aligned with the Centre’s core values.As a Community Development Lead, you'll guide and empower individuals and groups to pursue their interestsand aspirations within the Centre. This involves mentoring individuals to participate in community events,volunteer work, and share their skills.Excellent communication skills including networking.Strong interpersonal skills, to manage a diverserange of people.Facilitation experience – hosting and supporting community events.Capacity toinspire and motive others.Experience in community outreach.Experience working with vulnerable groups.Experience managing, mentoring, and evaluating mentorship and volunteering.The Butterfly Trust is the lead agency providing social support for people affected by Cystic Fibrosis throughoutScotland. We provide a comprehensive and diverse range of outreach services for all ages of people with CysticFibrosis and their families across Scotland.We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and approachable individual to join our team, with an appropriateskillset to add value and who has a commitment to continued professional development. We will provide bothin-house and external training to ensure all of our team develop their skills and knowledge to fulfil their roleto the best of their ability.The Children & Families Manager will be responsible for the delivery of services for children affected by CysticFibrosis and their carers.
