About the role:
Our client is looking for an expert in media relations (with an interest in politics) or public affairs to join their team:
This hire will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and delivery of client’s objectives across multiple different projects, establishing trusted relationships with senior clients.
This hire will be able to represent the client to senior stakeholders, developing and maintaining their own network the political and business media.
About our client:
Founded by a former Director of Comms at No.10 and with recent hires including a former Labour MP and a senior advisor to No.10, they have an impressive senior team and are plugged into the heart of politics.
Their expertise lies in advocacy, reputation and crisis management, and political campaigning. They work with disruptive technology firms, household brands in the food & drink and FMCG sector, global professional services companies, huge infrastructure providers, and Russell Group universities.
4-7 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas:
Tier 1 media relations experience, for example, within a government department
OR policy experience within government
Strong network in Westminster and Whitehall
Gravitas to engage and advise key stakeholders in business and government
Strong client management skills, working with large national or international corporations
