Communications OfficerStart: Feb 2024 (ASAP)Rate: £23 per hour, negotiable (Umbrella, Inside IR35)Duration: Monthly rolling contractWorking pattern: Remote, Part TimeOur client is currently looking for a Communications Officer with experience of planning, delivering and evaluating communications to join them in a fully remote role on a part-time basis. In this role you will use media relations, commercial and social marketing techniques to deliver your communications objectives.Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver communications activity, which is designed to manage reputation, deliver behaviour change or generate incomeCreate high quality content that can be used across several channels, including traditional media, social media, online, face-to-face engagement and internal channelsEnsure your activity has clear reputation, behaviour change and/or income-related objectives which are evaluated on a monthly basisImplement research activities in order to identify priorities and evaluate activities
Requirements:
Experience of working in a communications or marketing environmentExperience of producing content – for press releases, articles, advertising, videos, or social mediaExperience of event planning and deliveryKnowledge of digital and social mediaExcellent range of verbal and written communication, includingAble to build strong relationships
