Job Description
The Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity for a proactive, digitally savvy communications officer to join a high-profile trade body.
Main responsibilities:
Day to day management of the bodies social media channels, support in strategising and developing existing platforms and introducing new ones where needed to expand the organisation’s wider engagement Researching and gathering information on a variety of policy and communications areas
Supporting the successful running of a busy press office through contact list management, media monitoring and drafting briefs and press releases
Building relationships with key stakeholders to collate up to date case studies to highlight the associations achievements
Creating and uploading content to the organisations website to keep it relevant and engaging
Key skills and experience required:
Previous experience running an organisations social media channels
Experience of working with journalists , writing press releases
Confident building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
Strong previous experience planning social media and website
