Job DescriptionThis client is based in Chiswick and offers services to the public in West London. As a member of the communications team, you will report to the Head of Communications and be the third person in this successful division.This role offers a wide range of opportunities, including working with the Mayor's office and other Press Offices in influential organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver internal and external communications, engaging the current workforce through campaigns and uncovering good news stories. You will also be tasked with understanding the challenges that we can support with appropriate communications and identifying better ways to communicate and share knowledge across our organization.This role offers hybrid working.Key responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify communication needs and opportunities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Create engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, newsletters, press releases and internal communications.Support the rollout of our employee app that is due to launch in June 2024.Manage the company's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring and engagement with followers.Monitor and analyse communication activities, gathering insights to inform future strategies and initiatives.Generate and/or facilitate the production of content including photos, videos and audio for use across a range of traditional and digital channels.Provide guidance and support to team members on communication best practices and messaging consistency.Providing comms-related administrative support to internal teams.Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to help deliver various comms initiatives.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in communication and engagement.Skills and Experience required: Prior experience in a communications or engagement role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in storytelling.Demonstrated experience in creating content for various platforms and audiences.Proficiency in social media and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Strong time management skills with an ability to plan, anticipate obstacles and juggle priorities successfully.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across business functions and levels.The salary banding for this role is £35,000 - £38,#####
