The Role
supertri is looking for a Communications Manager to drive awareness of our brand within the media. You’ll work to support the Communications Director in a number of key areas which will include endemic and non-endemic media relationships, with a particular focus on our key markets, broadcaster and content distribution, and creating written content, as well as playing a key role in the wider marketing team and spreading our brand vision to ‘Inspire The Competitor In Everyone.’
Key Responsibilities
Create and execute proactive and reactive communication strategies for both local and global audiences
Develop relationships with endemic and non-endemic media and help secure further coverage of supertri
Assist in managing agency relationships and accreditation procedures to ensure maximum media reach in key markets and at host venues
Play a role in supertri’s broadcaster marketing efforts
Create written content to help support our stakeholders and broadcast partners, including creation of media packs, and support wider marketing efforts, and potentially editorial for the supertri website
Promote our commercial relationships and assist in B2B messaging
Creating press releases and maintaining our outreach databases
Work with the marketing department to drive awareness, engagement and participation for our events around the world
Media monitoring and metrics reporting
Identifying trends and implementing into our strategy
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience working in a demanding communications environment. Experience in sport is a major plus
Able to demonstrate expanding media footprints and developing relationships to generate coverage
A strong network of media contacts. Of particular interest is key markets of the UK, France, USA and Middle East
Ability to write clean and engaging copy
Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in French is a plus
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
Highly organised with project management skills
Strong passion for sport
