Widen The Net is a partner recruitment agency to Snap and we are hiring for their contract positions.
Snap are looking for a communications manager to join the UK communications team:
%CF; Design and deliver strategic and creative communications activities that drive awareness of Snap, product innovation and cultural relevance.
%CF; Work with policy and product teams on long term campaigns and tactical activity.
%CF; Build strong relationships and activate global stories and share local best practices.
%CF; Establish and maintain relationships with key UK reporters, influencers and commentators.
%CF; Develop press and social materials, brief spokespeople for communications opportunities.
%CF; Brief and manage communications agencies to support and lead an "always on" press office that supports business goals.
Requirements:
-5 years+ experience in a similar corporate communications role or media relations or PR or press relations role in-house or with agencies or with platforms/high tech firms;
-Strong command of the media, creator and cultural landscape, with a broad network of
contacts across tech, business, lifestyle, consumer media and influencers.
-Strong communication skills and experience in building relationships.
-Ability to work in fast-paced environment and deal with reactive issues.
4 months full time contract starting in May. 4 days office based in Farringdon/1 day work from home. Contract is inside IR35. Open for discussion on the daily rate depending on the experience.
