The role:
As a Communications Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll work as part of a small collaborative team to deliver strategic services to both national and international customers with stringent key performance indicators, with a focus on engineering and operational solutions including design, repair and modification.
Day-to-day, you'll be a duty engineer and complete maintenance, fault repair and standby duties. You'll be capable of working within a small but highly effective team where the highest of standards are expected from both a technical and behavioural perspective. You'll also:
Operation and maintenance of transmitters and associated equipment as part of the engineering team to agreed standards
Maintain technical and administrative records and provide information as required
Give technical support and work independently on specialist projects as required
