Communications Assistant (Temporary Maternity Cover 9Months) We are recruiting an enthusiastic and outgoing individual with strong marketing and communications skills to join our Communications Team! The role will be focused on assisting with the delivery of AWARE’s communications and marketing plans and campaigns. The successful applicant will work closely with the Communications Officers and team members from other departments to promote our services and programmes through a variety of channels, including digital platforms. This role will also focus on internal communications processes and assist in the promotion of the staff wellbeing charter across the organisation and lead the co-ordination and delivery of wellbeing initiatives for staff.
The main focuses of the post will be:
Assisting with communications and marketing campaigns to expand our current profile
Updating our website as a key source of engagement and information
Producing copy for digital and written materials
Creating engaging content for social media to promote our services and programmes
Contributing to the organisation’s strategy for health and wellbeing and coordination of wellbeing initiatives
