(Energy/Oil/Gas/Power) We are looking for experienced analysts and former traders to join our established and rapidly expanding global commodities team. We deliver real-time analysis and insight on global commodity markets to a broad client base that includes traders, portfolio managers, economists and strategists on both the buy and sell-side.We are recruiting for several positions across the oil, gas and power space. Knowledge and experience in one of these areas is a prerequisite.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are highly analytical, ambitious, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are a team of experienced analysts, researchers and former traders drawn from energy/utility companies, price reporting, investment banking, and research industries.The principal responsibilities of the positions include:Providing real-time analysis on energy markets covering either global crude/oil products or gas with a principal focus on Europe and US regions or EU power or related markets.Interaction with clients during the trading day.Working closely with the senior energy analysts and the wider markets team covering power, gas and/or oil markets.Contributing to regular thematic research.Developing new analytical tools and research products.Developing market connections and managing existing relationshipsEssential requirements for this role:Pre-existing knowledge and analytical experience in either oil / gas / EU power or other generating fuels.Able to deliver insightful and actionable analysis in a pressured real-time environment.Team player with strong collaboration skills.What We Offer:You will be joining a successful, fast-growing and entrepreneurial team.We have a strong focus on career and professional development, tailored to each team member.
