We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Commissioning Portfolio Lead in a full-time permanent position. The role of the Commissioning Portfolio Lead – Ageing Well involves working alongside the health colleagues, social care operational teams and providers who deliver services. The post holder will lead on all aspects of commissioning and project management including planning, implementation, co-production, governance, performance management and evaluation. What we are looking for :
A degree level or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience commensurate with this role A qualification in project management Considerable professional experience within social care, public health or the early intervention and prevention sector Experience of working within a political environment An understanding of all stages of the commissioning cycle Experience of working within multi agency and complex service areas A working knowledge of the Care Act 2014 Excellent communication skills including: written, oral and presentation skills The ability to develop good working relationships across the organization and partners Have a flexible and personal resilience approach and the ability to manage competing priorities Must hold a valid driving license
