Commissioning Mechanical Engineer

Astute's Power team is partnering with a Principal Contractor on an Energy from Waste project to recruit Mechanical Commissioning Engineers on a 12-month minimum contract for its Leeds site.

The Commissioning Mechanical Engineer role comes with a day rate of £450 per day.

Key skills

Ensure that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and that, in consultation with site management, HSE and Commissioning team, HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed regarding HSE requirements, and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
Ensures that works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with contract requirements, and conform with the approved drawings and standards, project time and budget
Delivers Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
