Mission & Main Objectives:Reports to: Director of Quality and CommissioningAESC is currently seeking a Commissioning HVAC Manager for a significant Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. This project entails the development of groundbreaking production lines on a large scale, surpassing previous limitations. Outline and Responsibilities:
Prepare detail commissioning plans and procedure of his/hers area of assigned responsivities.
Systemises project commodities, processes and identifies system boundaries for each.
Updates drawings, systemisation, check sheets as changes are updated through revisions, tag changes, RFI’s
Requests closure of punch items from Construction, 3rd Party Contractor
Assures all punch listed items are completed and closed out
Assures handover documentation to Manufacturing / Operations / Facilities
Monitors construction activities in preparation to executing commissioning activities.
Coordinates with appointed 3rd party contractors upcoming walk downs and completion of punch items prior to scheduled walk downs.
Coordinates handover walk downs between all stakeholders
Verify with QA team the quality of contractors pre-commissioning activities.
Support design reviews in their discipline
Performs engineering design review of HVAC dry systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilities
Collect, coordinate and structure the Clean and Dry Room design requirements from the factory users, amongst all teams and engineering disciplines.
Works closely with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Have at least 7 years of experience working for global leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects ($100m+ capex)
Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes
3+ years working experience in clean room production
Very good knowledge in HVAC systems with focus on clean room technology
Knowledge of ISO14644
Understanding of the potential implications of design changes/site instructions in relation to the key aspects identified above.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills are a must
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organisation with challenging timelines, budget and goals
Be capable of working in a close, multi-faceted team environment.
Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learn
Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution
