Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of water treatment systems, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently across various sectors, including industrial, municipal, pharmaceutical, and food and drink. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to our clients. Must be happy to stay away for up to 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for water treatment systems.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure readiness for commissioning.
Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
Develop and implement commissioning plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and testing procedures.
Perform system start-up, troubleshooting, and optimisation to achieve desired performance.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Provide training and support to clients and operational staff on system operation and maintenance.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process.
Continuously seek improvements in processes and technologies to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven background in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or related field).
Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies.
Electrical qualification
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in water treatment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
