We are looking for a Commis Chef. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Senior Chef de Partie and Head Chef.
Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis
We are looking for someone who has a previous experience in a similar culinary hotel environment.
As a Commis Chef you will be responsible for:
cooking food and preparing top-quality menu items in a timely manner
ensuring that mise-en-place for food preparation is completed in your section
ensuring ingredients are of the highest quality in daily preparation and keep up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques
informing Head Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials
operating all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
support the Senior Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work
