With all this growth, we’re looking for people who want to learn on the job and lead projects, knowing that your ideas will impact thousands of small businesses.Who we’re looking forWe’re looking for a Commercial Strategy & Operations Associate to join our German Customer Acquisition team. Our team is responsible for all our partners and introducers, from large banks to affiliate partners, and supporting our Direct Marketing channels. You’ll be an integral part of winning new partners, making our existing partnerships as successful as possible, and enhancing our direct offering.The successful candidate will ensure we’re making data-driven decisions to help grow our German business through developing and executing our acquisition strategies across our Third Party (partner) and Direct Marketing channels.In brief - you have some professional experience (3+ years), a strong analytical mind with a passion for problem solving, and you’re eager to learn many new skills on the job.Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Customer Acquisition Team:Work on strategic initiatives from ideation through to execution to grow our partnership network and direct marketing channelsIdentify opportunities to create value, build business cases and work with internal stakeholders to assure the prioritisation and delivery of products, services and process improvementsAnalyse the potential impact of different commercial opportunities and model outcome scenarios, based on internal data and external market researchLeverage our analytical tools to maintain and build out our various dashboards and reports to generate valuable insights into our Customer Acquisition channelsOwn special projects that look deeply into the various aspects of our German business to provide data-driven advice on how to improve channel performance and value generationProvide analytical support to different stakeholders in the German Customer Acquisition team; pull data, build models and test assumptionsResearch German market information and competitor data, from customer journeys to product demand or volumeFor all of this, you will build a network of fellow iwocans across our London and Frankfurt-based officesExpectations:Someone who has previously worked in a top-tier strategy consulting, or experience with a similar fintech or comparable industry (3+ years experience)You’re able to think in a structured and strategic way, disentangling bigger problems into small pieces and solving them one by oneHighly proficient in Google Sheets / Excel and experience with BI tools such as LookerComfortable deriving data-led insights in an imperfect world (i.e. when you never have all the data you’d like, exactly as you’d like it)Excellent at distilling complex information into key points, and presenting information (both written, and verbally) that is clear, succinct, well structured and engagingProven ability or demonstrable desire to implement findings of your research.
