Position titleCommercial Solicitor (1-4 PQE) Sports and MediaDescriptionMy client is a boutique law firm with offices in the heart of Manchester city centre. Specialising in the area of sports and media, they cover all manner of legal work for this niche sector.Responsibilities
* Advising clubs, agents and players on a variety of football transactional documents, including transfer agreements, playing contracts, agency arrangements and image rights arrangements;
* Advising on commercial rights agreements, including sponsorship, licensing, broadcast and other content exploitation;
* Advising on general commercial contracts, including supply arrangements, terms and conditions, agency, distribution etc.;
* The opportunity to undertake a wide range of business development initiatives working with colleagues in the firm's other practice areas.Qualifications
* 1 to 4 years PQE (although they will consider outstanding candidates outside this range);
* Legally qualified to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales;
* Office based role with some hybrid working;
* Experience of advising on a wide range of commercial matters detailed above; and
