Commercial Senior Finance Analyst

Stanton House are partnering with a well-known, leading household business who are a 'Times Top 50 Employer'.

They are looking to hire a Senior Finance Analyst to join a strong performing Finance team. The role will be responsible for providing meaningful and value add financial insight into performance and providing high quality commercial analysis as they team are an integral part of the organisation's strategy.

This role is an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre, commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to provide first class financial decision support. The candidate will be highly numerate, display strong analytical and presentational skills and be able to communicate confidently to senior management. Success in this role requires a passion for results, excellent communication and organisational skills, senior stakeholder experience, the confidence to operate autonomously and drive business performance.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a few years post qualified experience
• Demonstrable business partnering experience
• Strong Excel skills are a must
• Must be able to demonstrate a self-starter mentality and have a proactive work ethic
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure high levels of engagement
• Experience of adding commercial value

A little more information about the role:

• Financial lead for key deliverables, including budget, long range plan and monthly results. Become a trusted advisor to the senior management team across the business
• It is imperative the Senior Finance Analyst fully understands the financial performance and current trends. On a monthly basis, key insight will be provided to their stakeholders and business leads in the segment, which consolidates and explains current performance and highlights performance.
• With a deep understanding of the segment, the Senior Finance Analyst should be continuously looking to spot further opportunities, ensure the right decisions are made, and working at pace to drive key decisions to action.
• The success of this role is dependent on strong collaboration across multiple teams. A strong individual will ensure the multiple functions are aligned on their objectives and ensuring they are all working as one team.
