Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are supporting our client, a global manufacturing organisation based in West Lothian recruit an experienced Commercial Sales Analyst.

Based within the Sales team and part of the Management team in the manufacturing plant, you will be the interface between a number of internal departments including Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain and the Customers to provide accurate and effective product price and margin management, whilst driving continuous commercial excellence.

Responsibilities Include

  • Review, improve and update price guidelines to have the quickest and most efficient pricing process and ensure product margin and profitability objectives are met.
  • Provide support to the Sales team with commercial negotiations around product cost, margin levels etc.
  • Provide support to the Sales team through preparation and completion tender submissions.
  • Ensure the commercial pricing strategy is being adhered to across the business to ensure manufacturing and supply costs are covered.
  • Provide support to the Sales, Technical and Supply Chain teams to identify and implement business improvements including increasing margin and analysis.
  • Development accurate measuring tools and monitor trackers around margin management.
  • Support the Customer Service team to ensure correct pricing of Customer orders.
  • Provide support to Sales Leadership Team with projects, analysis and report.
  • Ensure our commercial agreements with customers are maintained including contract renewal, price reviews and account plan objectives.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience of working in a similar Commercial Analyst/Management role, this could include working in a Sales, Finance, Marketing or Supply Chain team.
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry sector is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, able to build relationships across with business and with external Customers.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ideally ERP/ERP or CRM systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Able to extract data, provide analysis and create and present reports.
  • Highly numerical skills are essential.
