Commercial Property Manager

Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with a Commercial Property investment services provider in NW London who are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to maintain the strong relationships with landlords and tenants across their retail portfolio. Consisting of 130 retail units the role will entail dealing with both Blue Chip companies as well as private investors. This role would suit someone with at least 2+ years' experience working as a commercial property manager who is looking for the opportunity for flexibility and control over their day to day within an established firm.
Duties/Functions of the role:

• Management of a retail and mixed use portfolio of properties across the UK
• Conducting property inspections
• Addressing property management and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently and liaising with contractors and tenants
• Attending meetings with with clients on a regular basis
• Preparation of service charge budgets and invoicing
• Rental collection and arrears chasing
• Managing lease agreements, rent reviews, licences and lease re-gears on behalf of clients and liaising with solicitors/surveyors as required
• Approving of any client invoices that are required for payment (eg vacant business rates, utilities)
• Preparing client monthly/quarterly rental statements/reports
• Supporting the property acquisition team

Requirements of the role:

• At least 2+ years experience working within a commercial property management role (ideally in the retail sector)
• MRICS Certification (Desired but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of commercial property leases/rent reviews
• Experience compiling service charge budgets
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
• UK Driving licence
• Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office
• Prior experience using TRAMPS management software (desired but not essential)

Salary Budgets: £60,000 base salary per annum plus bonus
Required working hours/pattern: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 2-3 days work from home days provided per week.
