I am currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Pricing & Promotions Manager to join a leading and ever-expanding retailer based within their Head Office function in the West Midlands.
Working as an integral part of the Commercial Marketing department, you will ultimately be responsible for�driving pricing & promotional strategy and omni-channel planning.�
Your additional responsibilities will include -
- Creating the on-going commercial strategy for the pricing & promotional campaigns calendar
- Conduct detailed and complex analysis of promotions, factoring relevant influences on performance such as changes in footfall, seasonality and offer.�
- Working directly with various business units to identify pricing & promotional opportunities,
- Identify optimum pricing strategies at each category level ensuring maximum financial return and compliment promotional offers.�
- Own and improve selection of Key Value Indicator products most important from Price & Promo perspective.�
- Ensuring�that promotions are delivered on time.
- Strategic development of both retail planning and digital channel
- Using market insight to understand the retail landscape and provide feedback.
- Manage and develop your team to the highest level.
Key requirements for the role -
- Previous experience of a Pricing & Promotions within a retail environment
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of promotions management.
- Educated ideally to degree level preferably in Marketing, Retail or Commercial area.
- Highly numerate, with proven ability to manipulate and analyse data to resolve commercial issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
- Strong IT skills with good understanding of MS Office and advanced Excel
- Team management experience
