My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber to join their dynamic team. The role involves working across various commercial sites in London and the Home Counties, providing expert plumbing services, with a focus on installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling and domestic water plant and equipment within commercial settings. This position requires a deep understanding of building services and the ability to effectively communicate and manage workload.

Duties:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial buildings, to relevant codes.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues with plant and equipment.

- Read and interpret drawings, and other specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.

- Write detailed work reports upon the completion of each job, outlining the work performed, challenges encountered, and any recommendations for future maintenance, repair and life cycling. 

- Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders, providing updates and feedback as necessary.

- Generate accurate quotes for additional works, considering labour, materials, and other resources.

- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a commercial plumber.

- Sound knowledge of general building services, commercial heating, cooling, domestic water plant and equipment, including the ability to identify such equipment in a plant room setting.

- Strong understanding of building services and systems.

- Excellent punctuality and reliability, smart, clean appearance 

- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

- Ability to write comprehensive work reports and communicate effectively with management and team members.

- Capable of generating and presenting detailed quotes for potential additional works.

- 1 in 6 call out rota.
