The Job:
Reporting to the Business Insights Manager, this post will work within the Commercial Excellence team and closely with sales and other business functions to contribute to the management of consignment resource and sales revenue optimisation, also providing sales analytic support and identifying improvements for field inventory utilisation.
Tasks and
responsibilities:
Assess commercial viability of new consignment requests, discuss any potential adjustments to improve margins.
Recommend the most optimal deployment plan by identifying cost reduction opportunities.
Place consignment orders and monitor the delivery schedule whilst liaising with the sales team on expected lead time.
Monitor sales performance against expected consignment usage.
Communicate the progress, changes in delivery schedule and post-deployment performance with inventory analyst, supply planners and sales teams.
Reporting of short shelf-life products on consignment.
Update analytical tools for consignment validation and tracking.
Provide regular sales and budget performance reports.
Clearly communicate insights from sales analysis to key stakeholders.
Support with investment planning and monitoring.
Product allocation to the relevant salesforce category in SAP/Cognos.
General requirements:
Well, organised with a methodical approach to work.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and prioritisation skills
Basic understanding of sales revenue and cost impact on margin
Specific requirements:
Experience in Excel, Cognos, SAP
Education and Professional Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years industry experience/ Knowledge
Working Arrangements:
Please note that this is a temporary full-time position for 6 months, potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
(40 hours per week) working hours of 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday. Flexibility required.
Compensation and benefits:
Competitive salary based on level of experience. 25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, Contributory Pension scheme, medical cash back plan, Group income protection, Life Assurance, and free onsite car parking.
