Job DescriptionOversee and manage all functions of the business across operations, commercial, facilities and premisesWith the Board protect and grow the organisations brand to enhance the company's reputation Work with the Board to develop and execute strategic plans to meet company goalsMonitor and analyse performance metricsRun and manage a team to deliver on business objectivesFoster a positive and productive work environmentImplement new business strategies and initiativesImplement business systems that will be suitable for ISO9000 accreditation Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersEnsure compliance with industry regulations The Successful ApplicantA successful Commercial Operations Officer should have:A degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldA completer finisher: a focused leader who ensures an organisation's goals are not beyond its capability to deliver KPI's on time and on budget A strategic operational thinker: pragmatic operational planner to deliver the agreed plan and long-term strategyResults orientation: Demonstrates ability to work on projects towards the accomplishment of established goals and objectives. Collaborative approach: manage different business functions to resolve issues and problems as they arise Strong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsA solid understanding of commercial operations and business strategies with a focus on quality and serviceA proven background in general management in a commercial and business setting, with previous experience of managing P&Ls and a successful track record of growing a business Ideally experience of organisations (or possibly a business unit) ranging from £5m - £20m
