The role of UK Commercial Officer is a key role within the Commercial Function, supporting our UK Sales Capability.This role is reporting to the Head of Commercial.Description of Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinating and delivering the UK Commercial Office based activities:Working along side the UK Commercial Team to ensure the appropriate execution and compliance of our commercial activities in wholesaler, retail and hospitals:Ensuring wholesaler inventory levels are maintained for the Neon UK portfolioEstablishing the evolving purchasing parameters and ensuring compliant purchasing by pharmacy for Brand Equalisation DealsEnsuring compliant purchasing by hospital for Contracted LinesReporting Commercial Function performance:Developing and presenting commercial performance metrics in line with the needs of the Commercial Leadership, to ensure appropriate information is available for decision making.Owning the reporting process of all DHSC and controlled drug routine reportingCommercial Insight process ownership:Utilise existing and new external data sources to provide regular commercial insights to the UK Commercial Team, in the areas of competition, pricing and product/therapy area pharmaceutical usageThrough insight generation, support the commercial assessments of new Business Development acquisition targetsIn-bound enquiries:Under the guidance of Neon’s Operations Manager, support the customer inbound enquiries process.Ad hoc project based activities:This role is designed as a role to support the learning and development of pharmaceutical commercial team members. To support this, we would look for incremental project-based work opportunities to support this development objective.Knowledge / Skills / AttributesHighly motivated individual that can demonstrate flexibility, and a can-do attitude.Ensure positive, productive, and proactive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Self-driven, takes ownership and demonstrates high levels of personal accountability.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, challenging, entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment.You will be entrepreneurial, highly commercial and results driven with strong analytical skills.Strong numerical skillsProven Data Analysis and reporting experience.Good Excel skills are essentialPharmaceutical sales, marketing & operations background, preferable but not essential.Understanding of GDP and SOPs, MHRA and other compliance requirements, preferable but not essential.Please apply via linked in or email ##### with a short covering letter and CV.
