Location: London Type: Permanent Salary: 50,000 to 100,000 Per Year Posted on: 22/02/2024 This is a great hybrid opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading specialist, constructing steel projects up to 20million.About our client.•             My client is an award-winning structural steel contractor and fabricator with a history in delivering innovative construction projects. They are now looking to add a Commercial Manager to their team.About the Role•             The position is mainly remote; however, occasional travel to Dorset area will be required.•             Management of the commercial performance of construction projects.•             Securing valuation and payment entitlements from the client.•             Handling all commercial and contractual dealings with the downstream supply chain.•             Management of cost/value performance of projects.•             Internal reporting.•             Working in close collaboration with others in the project delivery team.About the Candidate•             Proven ability in all aspects of the commercial process.•             A good understanding of JCT and NEC contracts is essential.•             Background in dealing with a main contractor or large sub-contractor.•             Teamwork, self-motivation, and initiative are important attributes.
