We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25million of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the creation and franchising of virtual food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen - we think there’s about 70,000 of them in the UK. We've grown massively in a short period of time and have operations in the UK, Europe, USA and UAE. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery Apps whilst continuing to service their core customers.In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market! Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey.We are currently looking for a Commercial Lead based in our London Headquarters. You’ll join our rapidly growing team, focused on running strategic projects that codify & refine our ways of working across the business. This means working closely with stakeholders from all departments to ensure a deep understanding of frustration points, opportunity areas & the best levers to promote sustainable growth. You will have exposure to all elements of the business and work with the team to define, build out and embed improved business processes, workflows and tools. This role has an emphasis on senior stakeholder & project management, deep analytical skill & commercial decision-making: having a strong personality and the ability to break problems down into component parts will set you in good stead when exploring strategic projects.Your tasks:Identify value proposition improvements across the business: You and your team will be responsible for identifying, prioritisation and codifying strategic improvements to PWB’s value proposition to ensure long-term model sustainability and risk mitigation for PWB revenue streamsScenario modelling & strategic thinking: Once we have identified the high priority projects to work on, you and your team will be responsible for running exploration, modelling and execution of cross-functional projects, managing operational stakeholders as well as SLT (Senior Leadership Team) sponsors to ensure delivery - this will mean being comfortable with conflict resolution and senior stakeholder management, being experienced with commercial modelling & being able to execute to long-term strategyPresenting outputs & embedding processes: You will be responsible for presenting key Commercial projects to the SLT & ELT, as well as the wider team. You will also own the embedding recommendations into other teams with key actions and processes to ensure subsequent implementation following strategic commercial thinkingDeploying and managing junior team resource effectively: You will manage a team of junior members and be responsible for allocating their resource, supervising their execution and professionalising their delivery. Ultimately, you will be accountable to the SLT/ELT for team performanceWork closely with the Founders: You will conduct research, coordinating and managing projects, building and maintaining relationships, preparing documents and pitches, and assisting with day-to-day operations. Requirements:You have a top tier university degreePrevious work experience at a management consultancy or investment bankYou’re an excellent and persuasive communicator; you’re calm under pressure and able to easily collaborate and work with othersYou enjoy managing and influencing people and building relationshipsYou have strong conflict resolution skills and can navigate complex conversationsYou’re excellent at managing your and others’ time and able to juggle multiple tasks without letting anything fall through the cracksYou’re confident working with data and commercially experiencedYou’re excited to work in a high growth, fast-paced startup environment.How We WorkThis is a hybrid role.
