Commercial Manager

BAM Nuttall are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Commercial Manager to work within the RIIOT2 Framework. You will be required to work on projects in Finstown, Orkney Islands & Dounreay, North Coast of Scotland; we will be working on the construction of a new substation in Finstown and upgrades to neighbouring substations in Dounreay. The works are expected to last until summer 2026.Your missionAs a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Maintain effective communications with the Framework Director, Regional Commercial Manager, project management and other associated disciplines and enhance the profile of commercial servicesBe responsible for staff matters which may include staff succession awareness, recruitment, development, attitude and behavioural issues, competency and retainment issues, staff allocationProvide commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract vetting and input to subcontract documentsEnsure audits are carried out and feedback is provided to the businessProvide commercial input to contacts with clients, and if necessary, client's representativesProvide commercial advice to the site team in connection with all project issues and provide input to area commercial discussions / reviewsTake part in discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategyEnsure the production of monthly cost and value reports, quarterly forecasts and company tied costs.
