Date Posted:#####-03-15 Date Posted#####4-03-15Country:United KingdomLocation:HS Marston Aerospace Limited, Wobaston Road, Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, WV10 6QJPosition Role Type:UnspecifiedCommercial ManagerEngine Systems product value stream, a part of the Heat Transfer value stream within the Environmental and Airframe Controls System (EACS) Power & Controls business unit, is seeking a Commercial Manager.The successful candidate will lead and drive effective performance of commercial activities across a portfolio of major military and civil contracts with international customers. The role will require close connections to the Power & Controls product and customer value streams, working as part of the integrated project team (IPT) to provide competitive advantage whilst meeting contractual obligations. Responsibilities will span the product life cycle including agreements, bid support, product development, manufacture and support contracting.Primary responsibilities:Provide leadership, develop capability and manage capacity of demand management and sales administration team.Responsible for the development and management of commercial relationships with key customers.Lead and develop commercial strategy for bids and live contracts.Contract review and management of prospects and contracts, to include establishment of sound contractual and costing basis to support current and future requirements in accordance with Collins Management System (CMS).Commercial lead on negotiation of terms and conditions.Providing commercial guidance and support to multi-functional teams.Responsible for ensuring wider commercial understanding and knowledge across the business.Drafting, presentation and management of agreements and contract clauses.Contract risk and opportunity management to support value stream decision making.Ensure adherence to, and continuous improvement of commercial and business processes.Knowledge & Skills:The right candidate will be able to demonstrate their potential to succeed in a contracts & commercial environment.Experience in managing high profile/value contracts within both civil and military aerospace industries, would be an advantage.Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as are good preparation and planning skills.Enjoy working with customers and colleagues to reach agreement in a demanding environment.An attention to detail and methodical approach, together with good problem solving and negotiation ability.Requirements:Degree or equivalent experienceExperience of Aerospace is desirableSome travel may be required and flexible working hours to support different time zones RTX is An Equal
