Commercial Manager :
A great opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join a growing specialist tour operator based in Greater Manchester. This role will be responsible for maximizing margin through reviewing and analysing data and trends and monitoring market competition. Whilst assessing sales and driving recommendations for offers across the brand and making suggestions for improvements. This role will be hybrid and will be working Mon-Fri and offers a very competitive salary, bonus and other company benefits.
Commercial Manager Responsibilities :
Management of Commercial & Pricing and Promotions Analyst
Revenue management concepts, tactics, and processes
Analyse and monitor the market dynamics and the evolution of demand, competition, and seasonality to determine and adjust the company's pricing.
Create recommendations on market policies, payment terms and sales conditions to optimize the booking curves and protect against retro revenue loss.
Pricing of all products
Implement adequate pricing strategy for all customer segments and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Competitor review and analysis
Commercial Manager Skills and Experience :
Experience working within a Commercial Role covering revenue management, forecasting, and modelling experience within the the travel/hospitality industry.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
Fundamental understanding of pricing structures and techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas to drive decision based on analytics.
Ability to prioritize work and ensure accuracy while meeting rigid deadlines.
Bachelor's degree preferably in a quantitative field.
Excellent computer skills (advanced excel and PBI).
Minimum three years of relevant (pricing, yield, or revenue management) experience.
