Company & Project: An award winning Main Contractor with a significant number of project wins in excess of �100m have a unique opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join their business leading a flagship project valued in excess of �140m.
The project is a large project in the Science and Healthcare sector. Candidates with NEC Contract experience is essential.
The company are looking for a candidate that has experience managing others and is looking to make a decisive step in their career. They will consider experienced candidates looking for a step up or proven Commercial Management candidates. The role includes both managing a team of 6 .
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the commercial management functions on a c�140m project which is currently live on site. Key duties include: producing CVRs, managing team workload to include applications for payment from sub-contractors, variations and preparation of final accounts.
You will also be expected to report at a senior level to directors and help build the team and overall growth of the region.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Managing QS or Commercial Manager on projects c�80m+ .
- Excellent communication skills.
- Contract knowledge using NEC would be advantageous.
- Previous Roles: Commercial Manager OR Managing QS OR Managing Quantity Surveyor OR Lead Quantity Surveyor OR Project Lead OR Commercial Director.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
