The Role

The role is for a Commercial Manager working for a national leader in specialist site management for housebuilders.

• Manage all site cost and income from tender stage through to completion.


• Liaising with external surveyors to initiate all planting, seeding, turfing and fencing works.


• Set up tender documentation for all new tenders.


• Submitting Bills of Quantities to suppliers.


• Enter into discussions and negotiations with client surveyors on new projects.


• Competitor research and analysis.


• Reviewing all contracts regularly to ensure profitability.


• Attending monthly senior management meetings to present regular updates of Commercial Management of the site.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes; You will have at least five years of experience in a Commercial Manager or Surveyor position with a national housebuilder or relevant contractor.

� Must be sales-driven with a desire to exceed targets.

� Proven experience as a successful Commercial Manager within a similar industry.

� Key client relationship building experience.

� Understanding of how the Housebuilding industry works for the employment and payment of sub-contractors.

� Payment Stages experience: - Plot Works, POS Works, Variations, Maintenance
