The role as a Commercial Manager (production)
In this role, you will develop and deliver the commercial strategy for each of our production projects. As our commercial manager (production) you will work closely with our Production Estimator and Procurement team. You will develop Procurement Schedules to enable delivery of our Production Plan and lead on all commercial aspects of subcontract management from enquiry through to final accounts to drive best value. You will report on risks and opportunities, feed into cost and value reconciliation, develop and update project budgets, circulate forecasts and collate direct and indirect Reds10 labour costs for wider business reporting.
Accountabilities:
* Delivery of management of robust and auditable subcontractor package scopes and execution of contract documents and auditable internal labour budgets for factory works
* Assessing the works completed by trade subcontractors and timely raising of accurate subcontract Payment Notices, Pay Less Notices.
* Visible Leadership and line management of junior commercial staff so that they reach their potential.
Responsibilities of our Commercial Manager (Production)
* Development of accurate Trade Packages comprising of bills of materials, drawings, schedules and scopes, contract sum analysis, contract particulars, quality and safety documentation etc.
* Support colleagues in the accurate and timely valuation of project works and collate progress data, vesting certificates, records and other information to aid our claims to client.
* Effective management of change with project clients, consultants and sub-contractors and input into costed project change registers.
* Review the estimating outputs and undertake commercial handovers between estimating and commercial delivery. Feedback to estimating any scope or rate deficiencies to allow their review and rate updates.
Key Skills as a Commercial Manager at Reds10

* Understands the technical detail of buildings.
* Good people management skills with track record of mentoring
* Experience using cost management software and all Mircosoft Outlook Packages
